Accountant
About the Role:
Samudra Strips is looking for detail-oriented and responsible Accountants to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including billing, receipts, payments, and vouchers.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance as per company policy.
- Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closings.
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
Requirements:
- Qualification: B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience)

- Qualification: Graduate Degree (any discipline).

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Buying Executive to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing metal scrap from various suppliers to achieve a daily business target of 1 ton. This role demands strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to build lasting relationships with scrap dealers and industrial suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source quality metal scrap from reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive prices and ensure transparent, profitable deals.
- Achieve daily business targets of 1 ton of scrap procurement.
- Maintain supplier records and update purchase transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for timely material movement.
- Track market trends and report daily scrap prices and competitor activity.
- Build strong business relationships to expand procurement channels.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Intermediate (12th Pass or Equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in scrap buying, trading, or related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet daily business goals and work independently.
